What we collect, and what we don't.

This website, thinkerwave.ai, is operated by ThinkerWave AITech Pvt. Ltd., an AI company registered in India at INNOV8, Bestech Business Park, 8th Floor, Gurgaon, Haryana, India. We are the data controller for the information described here. For any question about this policy or your data, contact vikas@thinkerwave.com.

On this website we collect the information you actively submit through the contact or team-access forms: your name, work email, company, role, and the message or problem you describe. When you click a download button we record only the platform and the button you used, with nothing that identifies you. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not set non-essential or third-party tracking cookies.

Our web server keeps standard technical logs (for example, IP address and request time) for security and operational purposes, as almost any web server does.

We use what you submit for exactly one purpose: to respond to you and, if you requested access, to set you up. Our lawful basis is your consent in submitting the form and our legitimate interest in replying to a genuine enquiry.

Your submission is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our own endpoint, recorded on our server, and emailed to us using Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS acts as a processor that transmits the message). We do not sell your information, we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not add you to any list.

We retain form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship. We keep account information, and any browser-version conversations and runs, for as long as your account is open. You can ask us to delete what you sent, or your whole account and everything stored with it, at any time, and we will, email vikas@thinkerwave.com.

To use ThinkerWave you sign in with Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or a one-time code sent to your email. From that sign-in we keep your email address. We do not receive or store your password for any of those services, and we do not ask them for your contacts or files.

With your account we keep what we need to run the service: your plan and trial status, your remaining free credit, and the dates you started your trial, first connected a model provider, and first ran a problem. For each device where you use the desktop app, we keep a device identifier, its name, and when it was first and last seen. The desktop app also reports daily usage counts (number of runs, successes, failures, minutes, which model provider was used, and a cost bracket) and, when something breaks, an error report with secrets scrubbed out. None of these contain your problems, your data, or your results.

Signing in sets one essential cookie that keeps you logged in. If you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe; we receive confirmation of the payment, not your card details. Sign-in codes and account emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service.

How much of your work reaches us depends on how you run ThinkerWave, and we want that to be plain.

Desktop app with your own model key: ThinkerWave runs on your machine, and your problem data, descriptions, spreadsheets, documents, and the answers a run produces, is never sent to us. Model calls go only to the AI provider you configure, using credentials you hold, under that provider’s own privacy terms.

Desktop app on a Managed plan: the app still runs on your machine, but its model calls go to the managed models we provide, so the content of those calls passes through our service to reach them. We use it to deliver the run and meter your usage.

Browser version: the run happens in our cloud, so we store your conversations, the problems you submit, and the run’s progress and results with your account, so you can come back to them. If a run searches the web or fetches a page, those requests are made on your behalf. For sensitive work, use the desktop app with your own key.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your problems, data, or results to train AI models.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we keep little beyond your account and what you sent us directly, these requests are simple to honour. Email vikas@thinkerwave.com and we will act on it.

ThinkerWave Engine is a tool for professional and institutional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
